SENIOR PROPERTY MANAGER

The Role

Are you an experienced property manager? We are seeking an experienced property manager to join our team and manage a portfolio of luxury high end holiday rentals, and develop strong and positive relationships with home owners, trades and our internal team members to ensure the efficient running of the holiday management department.

Your typical day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for the day to day property management of the holiday rental department.

  • Allocating, completing and overseeing maintenance over the portfolio

  • Supporting the rest of the team to collaborate and effectively work together by following and creating processes.

  • Overseeing the facilitation of cleaning of homes between bookings, and ensuring homes are in line with Otway Retreats standards.

  • Inspecting homes to ensure they are presented immaculately and ready for guest arrivals.

  • Managing the guest experience and responding to guest messaging.

  • Monitoring stock and inventory levels and completing orders.

  • Optimizing processes and follow ups.

  • Building relationships with home owners and guests.

  • Responding to escalations and complaints.

  • Supporting the rostering of cleaning teams and staff.

Requirements

  • Has excellent communication and customer service skills, being comfortable managing and working with team members at all levels.

  • Is detail-oriented and organized, capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

  • Has a background in property management or sales, or hospitality management.

  • Is proactive and can work independently, but is also a team player who is eager to collaborate with others.

  • Can solve problems creatively and is flexible to adapt to changing circumstances or unexpected challenges.

  • Has high level administration and organisational skills and has experience managing teams.

  • Must have car and drivers license

  • Some weekend work is required as well as after hours assistance (shared on a roster)

Ideal Hours - Subject to negotiation

5 days per week (one of these days will be a weekend day) + remote after hours messaging on a roster from home 1-2 nights per week 6pm - 9pm

We offer a competitive salary, commensurate with experience and qualifications and hours worked.

ASSISTANT PROPERTY MANAGER

The Role

  • Undertaking general day to day administration, and creating processes and procedures to ensure the efficient running of the office.

  • Managing inspections and tasks.

  • Supporting property management staff in the day to day management duties.

  • Overseeing the facilitation of maintenance on homes.

  • Inspecting homes to ensure they are presented immaculately and ready for guest arrivals.

  • Managing the guest experience and responding to guest messaging.

  • Monitoring stock and inventory levels and completing orders.

  • Optimizing processes and follow ups.

CLEANING TEAM LEADER

The Role

Are you a cleaner who is looking to take a step up and expand their career further? We are seeking a cleaning team leader to support the cleaning team at Otway Retreats. The aim of this role is to provide training, identify and arrange maintenance to support and ensure the homes we manage are maintained to the highest of standards.

Your typical day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the cleaning team staff to ensure our standards are always met.

  • Supporting with training, and best practice to maximize outcomes and efficiencies of the cleaning team

  • Attending homes under management to identify and resolve maintenance issues as necessary.

  • To attend homes and identify possible improvements to maximise owner returns and ensure high guest satisfaction.

  • Cleaning of homes to support the cleaning team

  • Property checks post cleaning to identify any issues and inconsistencies, and to ensure homes are always guest ready.

  • Keeping an eye on stock and inventory levels and undertaking orders as required.

  • General administration and co-ordination of training and implementing policy updates.

Requirements

  • Has excellent communication and customer service skills, being comfortable working with and leading teams.

  • Has a significant background in cleaning homes and a thorough understanding of what is required in short term holiday rental presentation.

  • Has a background or knowledge of undertaking basic handyman tasks and coordinating maintenance.

  • Is detail-oriented and organized, capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

  • Is proactive and can work independently, but is also a team player who is eager to collaborate with others.

  • Can solve problems creatively and is flexible to adapt to changing circumstances or unexpected challenges.

  • Has high level administration and organizational skills.

  • Must have car and drivers license
