Apollo Bay Art Social is a weekly workshop of sketching still life, live models, en plein air sessions and enjoying social connection.

Welcome to Apollo Bay Art Social - a weekly art workshop with the Intention of practicing sketching still life arrangements, live models and occasional en plein air sessions, while connecting with others in a relaxed atmosphere. We will start off with some simple still life compositions and progress towards live models, also enjoying outdoors sessions from time to time . Some informal instruction is provided, covering fundamentals of art; and ALL levels of experience are welcome.

Please bring an A3 sketch pad with good quality paper and a range of sketch pencils and an eraser as a minimum. You may also wish to bring a board and bull clip to position your sketch pad, and any other medium you’d like to work with, such as pastels, charcoal, etc. Join your local creatives in a relaxed social atmosphere, enjoy tunes, drinks & nibbles and ART. Again, all levels welcome!
